Treatment in Germany: arranging hospital admission

After an online consultation, we can discuss possible treatment or surgery in Germany. Arranging hospital admission begins with a review of your medical documents and discussion of treatment options and your wishes.

1. Consultation first

Book an online consultation and provide your medical documents and examination results in advance. We will discuss your situation, treatment options and whether further investigations or an in-person examination are needed. The consultation is paid for separately as a private service. It does not itself mean that surgery or hospital admission has been scheduled.

2. Choosing a clinic

We will discuss whether treatment is possible at the clinic where I work. This depends on the medical indications, the clinic's specialisation, the available methods and agreement with its specialists.

If the necessary operation is not performed at my clinic, including certain brain procedures, we can discuss referral to another suitable clinic. This requires prior agreement with the receiving clinic. The clinic makes the final decision on admission, treatment and timing.

3. Paying for treatment

If you pay yourself, the costs of examinations, hospital care and surgery are agreed directly with the clinic. Contracts, invoices and payments are arranged with the clinic. I do not accept these payments or take part in financial transactions between the patient and the clinic.

If you have insurance, you must clarify coverage with the clinic and insurer in advance. A German or European health insurance policy does not by itself confirm payment for a particular planned treatment.

4. Arranging admission and logistics

At your request, I can help coordinate your approach to the clinic, transfer agreed documents, clarify dates and coordinate organisational steps. The scope of assistance is determined individually, especially for patients from other countries.

Logistics is a separate service with an additional fee. After speaking with you and clarifying the steps required, I propose a price. The scope, amount and payment conditions are agreed in advance. Assistance begins only with your consent and is not automatically included in the consultation or clinic treatment fee.

5. For patients living in Germany

You can discuss treatment at a clinic of your choice. Admission and insurance coverage must be clarified with that clinic and your insurer.

If you would like me to provide your treatment, contact me in advance. We will discuss whether my involvement is possible and the timing of admission to the clinic where I work. This requires prior agreement and is not guaranteed by an online booking.

Additional organisational assistance may involve separate logistics costs. For patients living in Germany, the assistance required is usually less extensive, so the cost may be lower. The amount is discussed individually and agreed before the service begins.

6. Before travel or admission

Obtain confirmation from the clinic in advance and clarify the examinations and treatment, timing, costs or insurance coverage arrangements. If necessary, we will separately agree on organisational assistance and payment for it.

Consultation, inpatient treatment and logistics are three separate stages. The consultation is paid to me as a private service, treatment is paid directly to the clinic, and the fee for additional organisational assistance is agreed with you separately.
